Munster U16 Boys 2018

Clubs and schools are invited to nominate players to attend the trials for the Munster U16 boys by emailing each player’s name, position, school/club & contact details (phone + email) to John.Geary@Intel.com

The deadline for nominations is Friday 23rd  March. Players need to be 15 or under on 31/12/2018 i.e. they are ineligible if they turn 16 this year.

Similar to previous years, we plan to run 3-4 sessions before we make any cuts so players will have multiple opportunities to show their skills. We’ll also rotate the location of the trials between Cork, Limerick & Waterford to encourage participation & to spread out the driving.

Information about the first trial will be posted on the Munster Hockey website in due course & communications sent out to individuals through email. Outlook would be to host the first trial over the Easter hols with date to be confirmed.

If you have any queries, don’t hesitate to contact John at the above email address or by phone in the evening at 083-3129505.

Munster U18 Girls 2018

Clubs and schools are invited to nominate players to attend the trials for the Munster U18 girls by emailing each player’s name, position, school and/or club to munsteru18girls@gmail.com. The deadline for nominations is Friday 16th March. Any player born on or after 1/1/2001 and before 1/1/2003 is eligible to trial.

In previous years, this trial process has been made more difficult for coaches and management due to the volume of players involved. To ensure each girl gets a fair trial and has the best opportunity to be seen, we would strongly encourage you to please only send players whom you believe have the potential to represent Munster.

Information about the first trial will be posted on the Munster Hockey website in due course.
