Vice President Vacancy

The Munster Branch are again calling nominations for the role of Vice President. The Vice President would assist the current President Finbarr Kelleher in his role and would be expected to step up to the role of President once Finbarr’s term is completed. The constitution states that there should be a gender balance in the role of President so we are ideally looking for a woman.

Hockey in Munster will not start until this critical role is filled.

Maureen Clarke RIP

The Munster Branch is saddened to announce the passing of Maureen Clarke.

Removal on Tuesday evening at 6.00pm to St Michael’s Church, Blackrock. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospital and Hospice. House private please.

Pitch and Putt Fundraiser

The Branch are running a pitch and putt classic in Garryduff on the 3rd of September from 2pm to 5pm. We are looking for teams of 2 people to enter at a cost of €40 per team. €10 of this will go directly to your club of choice with the rest of the profits going to Munster Interpro sides. The competition is open to men, women, boys and girls – teams can be made up of any combination with prizes for each category. The format is a scramble therefore making it accessible to people of all ability (if you don’t know what that means don’t worry).
