Vacant Coaching Positions
U16 Girls Head Coach
The U16 girls head coach must have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland, but preferably a Level 2 qualification. They will be required to oversee the U15 girls development programme and will be required to communicate with the regional centre head coaches regarding session plans etc. It is expected that the U16 girls head coach will provide leadership and guidance to the U15 regional centre head and assistant coaches. The successful applicant will then trial players from the U15 regional centres for the U16 team and will be responsible for planning and delivering training sessions for the U16 girls Interpro squad. The Interpro tournament will take place from 18-20 September 2020 in Ulster. This position requires a highly motivated coach with strong leadership, communication, organisation and planning skills.
U15 Girls Regional Head Coaches
Munster Hockey is looking for three regional centre head coaches. These three regional centres will be based in Limerick, Cork and Waterford. The U15 girls regional head coaches must have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland. They will be required to plan and deliver training sessions and will report to the U16 Girls head coach. Suitable candidates must possess good leadership, communication, organisation and planning skills. They will also be expected to provide leadership and guidance to the assistant coaches. There will be a National Festival for this age group on 8/9th May 2020 in Leinster. There is potential for regional head coaches to progress on as an assistant coach for the U16 girls Interpro squad.
U15 Girls Regional Assistant Coaches
Munster Hockey is looking for 2 assistant coaches for each U15 Girls regional centre. These regional centres will be based in Limerick, Cork and Waterford. Suitable candidates must have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland.
U16 Boys Head Coach
The U16 boys head coach must have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland, but preferably a Level 2 qualification. Their first task will be to create an U15 panel which will take part in the U15 National Festival in May. After this their focus will change to the U16 Interpros. They will be required to plan and deliver training sessions, while also providing leadership and guidance to the assistant coaches. This position requires a highly motivated coach with strong leadership, communication, organisation and planning skills. The Interpro tournament will take place from 11-13 September 2020 in Leinster. The U15 National Festival is on 8/9th May 2020 in Leinster.
U16 Boys Assistant Coaches
Munster Hockey is looking for 1-2 assistant coaches for the U16 Boys interpro squad. Suitable candidates must have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland. The Interpro tournament will take place from 11-13 September 2020 in Leinster. The U16 boys management team will also take teams to the U15 National Festival on 8/9th May 2020 in Leinster.
Junior Women Head Coach
Munster Hockey is looking for a head coach for the Junior Women team. The Interprovincial tournament will take place from 16-17 May 2020 in Connacht. Suitable candidates should have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland.
Junior Men Head Coach
Munster Hockey is looking for a head coach for the Junior Men's team. The Interprovincial tournament will take place from 16-17 May 2020 in Connacht. Suitable candidates should have at least a Level 1 coaching qualification from Hockey Ireland.
Managers
