Dear Club Secretaries!
First and foremost I realise that you may no longer be your club secretary. If this is the case then you might pass on the information in this email.
As you are no doubt aware, there are a number of vacancies yet to be filled on the Branch Management Committee.
As there were no nominees to these positions at the Annual General Meeting on May 1st and none received since then, you are reminded that all Munster Branch activity will cease after 1st June 2019 unless the situation changes.
We very much regret that we find ourselves in this situation but I’m sure you can appreciate that we cannot be expected to function going forward without a Management Committee Chairperson, Munster Vice-President, Chairperson of the Competitions’ Committee and Chairperson of the Coaching and Development Committee. The job descriptions for these positions are on the Munster Branch web-site.
We propose to hold a meeting of last season’s Management Committee on Tuesday 28th. May to address the situation. We are sincerely hoping that our clubs will endeavour in the meantime to appreciate the seriousness of where we are at, and nominate candidates for these vacant positions.
